TEA SOMMELIER & PROPRIETOR

A self-taught pastry chef, Lola has worked in the food & hospitality industry for 10 years. Along the way, her love of tea developed into a full-fledged exploration of its history and uses. Lola has recently spent the past 6 years working in tea rooms in Toronto, Canada. During that time she studied at The Tea & Herbal Association of Canada, and became a fully certified tea sommelier. Lola also does all her own food photography, showcasing her magical creations. 

Lola has always had a strong bond with her hometown of Cobalt, Ontario; and when the historical Coniagas headframe came up for sale, she knew it was time to come home and create a beautiful tea room for the people of the North. Rooted in community, the history of tea, and whimsical delights, Lola Angus is one of the most exciting, young, new entrepreneurs in Northern, Ontario.
